
GN Bank Division One League sides - Karela FC and Dreams FC – were formally declared winners of Zones Two and Three respectively following the final round of matches played on Sunday.

Karela FC sealed their promotion in Week 25 whilst Dreams FC sealed their return to the Premier League in Week 28. Karela FC completed the season with a record 73points, 22points better than the closest pursuers. Dreams FC ended the season with 71points, 11points better than their closest competition.

Karela and Dreams FC Crowned Champions, Promoted to Premiership Division
A brief coronation ceremony was held by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the end of their last matches against Gold Stars for Karela FC and Tudu Mighty Jets for Dreams FC at which a trophy, and a plaque were given to the teams. Medals of recognition were also given to all the players and technical team members for winning their respective zones.
Karela FC won by 2 goals to nothing to complete the season’s sweep of Gold Stars whilst Tudu Mighty Jets battled Dreams FC to a three-all tie.
Based in the Western and Eastern Region respectively, Karela FC will be putting in their first appearance in the Premiership Division whilst Dreams FC will be make a return following their demotion last season.
