This past weekend’s quarter-finals round of the Sanford Women’s FA Cup competition saw the best team in this year’s National Women’s League – Ampem Darkoa Ladies - continue their remarkable unbeaten run with a comfortable 4-0 win over Real Upper Ladies to keep their hopes of annexing the FA Cup and NWL title alive.

Not to be outdone, NWL mid-tablers - Prisons Ladies – also continued their quest for their first major trophy of the season with a 5-0 trouncing of lower tier side Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies who found themselves outmatched by their much superior opponents.

In the Southern Zone, NWL league leading side – Immigration Ladies – continued their recent brilliant run at home as they stayed true to their recent form with a lone goal win over Sea Lions who lost for the third straight time in all competitions.

Defending FA Cup Champions - Police Ladies - also showed their determination and zeal to defend the trophy with a hard fought lone goal victory over a stubborn Army Ladies side.
