Kofi Ahiabenu - Urbanisation is happening at the speed of light with a resultant growth in the number of cities around the country.

According to Ghana’s Population and Housing Census 2010 report, the proportion of the population living in urban areas is 50.9 per cent in comparison to 2000, where the proportion of urban dwellers was 43.8 per cent.

There was not the usual excitement during the recent African Cup matches. Normally when the Black Stars are playing in a major match, I leave the television to save the old heart from great tension by taking a book to bed.

Valentine ’s Day is Today. Hurray!  While it is customary for men to get women gifts for this special day, many women will be trying to figure out a way to show their man how much they love them as well. While chocolates, cards, and intimacy is nice, what's a better way to show him how much you truly care than protecting his health?

After several months of waiting necessitated in part by the legal tussle between Dreams FC and Tema Youth FC that dates back to the 2014/15 GN Bank Division One Zone 3 league season that the two sides participated in, the start of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season is finally upon us after the former accepted their fault and took a demotion to the Division One scene where they rightfully belong. Thus, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Ghana Premier League will roar back to life this weekend, February 11th, 2017.
