Jon Stewart and The Daily Show were handed a prime target Wednesday when the Department of Justice, in conjunction with Swiss law enforcement, took down seven high-ranking FIFA officials on corruption charges.
Stewart takes aim at everyone involved in the sting, mocking the massive corruption of FIFA, the IRS official's dry delivery of soccer puns at the Department of Justice press conference, and even a few shots at the sport's flagging popularity in the United States.
The soon-to-be-exiting host actually saves his most scathing jokes for the Department of Justice, whom he mocks for taking 24 years to complete the investigation, and calls it out for letting banks get off with fines for similar behavior.
