Popular Dancehall artiste, Kaakie, says she has parted ways with Xtra Large Music. She made the announcement via her Instagram page.
Until the announcement on Monday, Xtra Large Music were her managers. According to the self-acclaimed Dancehall Queen, Xtra Large Music does not represent her interests anymore.
The music diva wrote that breaking such news to her fans was very painful. She added that several Facebook and Twitter accounts attributed to her were not managed by her.
Kaakie hit the limelight after competing in 'Stars of The Future', a music talent hunt organized by Charter House. She was signed by Xtra Large Music owned by JMJ and mentored by Samini. She had many hits that featured Samini which include Papistic, Body flame and many more.
She won the New Artiste of The Year and Reggae and Dancehall Artiste of The Year at the 2013 Ghana Music Awards.
Kaakie who is a nurse by training holds a BSc Midwifery degree from the University of Ghana and is a product of Achimota School.
