THE REAL ENEMY – Finance Capital, and how to overthrow it; Reverse-colonialism

Corruption, incompetence and mediocrity are great factors in our predicament, but the overarching factor is the one Lenin predicted would cripple many a weak nation; FINANCE CAPITAL.

In 1916, a year before his Revolution, Lenin published ‘’Imperialism; the highest stage of Capitalism.’ I will summarize Lenin’s definition of imperialism as follows:

1. Centralization of production & capital in such a way that it would create monopolies which would then dictate economic life.

2. Merging of bank & industrial capital to form finance capital, and then financial oligarchies.

3. The export of finance capital as a distinct process from the export of commodities.

4. The monopolies would share the world among themselves through export of finance capital.

5. The end result is territorial division of the world into spheres of influence by the great powers.

The parameters of imperialism have been defined; an expansionist drive for money and more power in a foreign country. When capitalism breaks a national frontier, imperialism begins.

Corruption, incompetence and mediocrity are great factors in our predicament, but the overarching factor is the one Lenin predicted would cripple many a weak nation; FINANCE CAPITAL.

This is the money we need to finance all the building block projects. This is the money we do not have.

We have chosen to import this power called FINANCE CAPITAL, and as it is said, he who pays the piper calls the tune. FC is conditional and it almost always leaves the borrower worse off. The result is needing new finance to finance old finance. A vicious cycle of dependency develops – state capture by FC.

Two things FC doesn’t care about are; race and religion. It is colour and faith blind. Africa has spent its whole life blaming the race and religion for its woes. ‘’Wɔ lu yɛ poolu hiɛ,’’ we are confused in front of the goal post. We do not understand how the world works. That is our problem, not the oligarchs’.

Let’s read what Walter Rodney, one of the sharpest African brains ever, wrote before his assassination in 1980 at the age of 38. In 2019 African leaders double his age don’t understand him. What a mess?

‘’Because it is a system of class oppression, it camouflaged its class nature under racial cover. And in

the end, it will move against anyone irrespective of color. In the end, they will move even against their own. Because when a monster grows, it grows out of control. It eats up even those who created it.

And it's time that our people understood that. Every African has a responsibility to understand the system and work towards its overthrow."

“The decisiveness of the short period of colonialism and its negative consequences for Africa spring mainly from the fact that Africa lost power. Power is the ultimate determinant in human society, being basic to the relations within any group and between groups. It implies the ability to defend one's interests and if necessary, to impose one's will by any MEANS available. In relations between peoples, the question of power determines maneuverability in bargaining, the extent to which a people survive as a physical and cultural entity. When one society finds itself forced to relinquish power entirely to another society that in itself is a form of underdevelopment.’’

Rodney wrote about colonialism. Nothing has changed. The new MEANS for power to impose its will is FINANCE capital, and the system for doing so is IMPERIALISM. We spend our whole life screaming,

colonialism, imperialism, capitalism etc. Who cares? Just understand the system and overthrow it.

They camouflage domination under race and religion, and we accept it, because it absolves us of any responsibility. China is neither white nor religious but ordered South Africa not to give visa to the Dalai

Lama, and it obeyed. In international relations, power determines maneuverability in bargaining.

Africa lost power because it was underdeveloped (not the other way around), it goes without saying that to develop, Africa must regain the power it lost.

Basic physics tells us Power=ability to work. The only hope for Africa to regain power is to neutralize foreign finance capital. And to do that, we must understand both the history and philosophy of western economic theory – migration and conquest.

The tool to undo finance capital is Reverse colonialism (RC). I define RC as a deliberate national policy of organizing citizens of ex-colonies in the 1st world into an external arm of its home economy, just as the colonists did with the colonies. We must begin to see migration as national economic activity.

Friends, ‘’we do not wrestle against race and religion, but against finance capital, against oligarchs, against dark powerful corporations and against highly secretive board rooms meant to control us.’’

How do we win this wrestling contest?

Stay tuned.
