Former Inter Allies standout, Ropapa Mensah, has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 26 of the 2017 USL season.
The talented striker scored a pair of goals as the Harrisburg City Islanders rallied from a first-half deficit to take a 2-1 victory against Toronto FC II this past Saturday night at the FNB Field.

Incidentally, Ropapa Mensah’s double was the first of the year in the late season for the struggling Harrisburg City Islanders. It also marked the first come from behind win of the year for the Islanders.
Ropapa Mensah’s double took his tally to five on the season, along with the enviable record of leading marksman on his team.
He was also instrumental with an assist in the Islanders 1-1 tie with FC Cincinnati on Tuesday September 12th. He now ranks third in assists (2) on his team.
For his exploits, he was named the Fans’ Man of the match. He received 65 percent of the votes conducted on the team’s Twitter account.
The Harrisburg City Islanders play in the Eastern Conference of the United Soccer League (USL). Presently, they occupy the 13th spot in the 15 team league.
